Our Mission
The Waco Committee for People with Disabilities exists to foster a community where people with disabilities and their families have the opportunity to enjoy full and equal participation in all aspects of community that maximize independence, self-determination, and quality of life.

Foster Awareness
Foster greater community awareness of the needs and contributions of people with disabilities and their families.
Remove Barriers
Work with community and people with disabilities to help remove attitudinal, architectural, and programmatic barriers.
Partnership
Cultivate partnerships and collaboration between people with disabilities, family members, service providers, civic and governmental agencies, and other community organizations that enhance opportunities for participation in and contribution to all aspects of community life.
Collaboration
Collaborate with organizations, employers, and community partners to support projects and events that advance the needs, goals, awareness, advocacy, and inclusion of people with disabilities and their families, while maximizing community impact and the effective use of resources.
Resources
Serve as a hub for community networking and resources for those who serve people with disabilities.
